Esther is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a Master’s degree from The University of Brighton and is also a graduate in Sport and Exercise Science from Bournemouth University.
Esther has an extensive experience in treating a wide range of complaints which originates from working in several integral areas within the NHS. This includes post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation, care of the elderly, ITU and respiratory care. Additionally, she has also greatly enjoyed the challenges of treating a variety of both chronic and acute musculoskeletal conditions, such as neck and back pain. These experiences have led her to have a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Esther has a background and interest in sports injury’s working with athletes from all levels, ages and abilities. This experience ranges from her current role as a physiotherapist at Cobham Rugby club to her ongoing role volunteering for The British Transplant Games.
Esther also has a sports massage qualification and will be teaching Pilates classes at Cranfold from the summer months this year.
Esther has an empathetic and tailored approach to physiotherapy. With the aim of isolating the causative factor and treating the individual as a collect and not just the injury, which sets the fundamentals for a speedy return to recovery.
Outside of physiotherapy Esther has a keen interest in lots of outdoor activities, such as sailing, paddle boarding and running but her main passion is horse riding. Esther regularly competes across all disciplines, but her main speciality lies within showing and side-saddle. This is an area she competes at a national level and has recently been awarded her judging qualification.
