Hi, my name is Ben, I qualified with First-class honours in Physiotherapy from Bournemouth University in 2017. This allowed me to gain Chartered Physiotherapist status after a background in Personal Training and Group Workout Instructing.
I am interested in treating all musculoskeletal issues using a completely personal approach. No pre-written exercise plans. This means I pride myself on considering each and every person, their preferences, lifestyle, sports, work and more to give a truely individualised approach.
My philosophy when it comes to healthcare is that everybody is unique and fully deserving of a tailored experience. So from our discussion, to assessment, treatment, exercise planning, advice, equipment and goal setting – everything is right for you.
Alongside Physiotherapy, I went on to study a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition at the University of Surrey, which I graduated from in 2018 with distinction. This means I am also an Associate Registered Nutritionist and strongly believe that what we eat can play a large role in exercise performance, injury prevention and recovery.
Outside of work my main interest is weight training, having previously competed in fitness model and physique bodybuilding competitions.
Alongside this I play football for Holmbury St. Mary and teach Indoor Cycling classes at Cranleigh and Dorking Sports Centre.

“After a knee replacement operation followed by six weeks of given exercises on my own, I had two sessions with Ben Steele-Turner at The Medwyn Centre. He was excellent and worked hard manipulating my leg to increase the bend in my knee and to straighten my leg. I am due to have two more sessions and I would certainly recommend him.” – TS from Ashtead
