I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1991 form St Mary’s Hospital in London. I have had a varied career spanning both the NHS and private practice gaining experience in a wide range of physiotherapy specialities.

I have been working at Cranfold Physical Therapy since 2006 treating all aspects of musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on spinal rehabilitation. I qualified as a certified APPI Pilates Instructor in 2014 and now teach 8 classes a week at Cranfold. I have also had the opportunity to work with the Medwyn Back Pain Clinic in Dorking alongside consultant Orthopaedic and Neurosurgeons, GPs and the Psychological Support team where they run a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach to the management of back pain.

I also now work as a First Contact Practitioner for Dorking Health Care assisting the GPs in the management of musculoskeletal problems. This job involves triaging the patient, giving advice on their condition and referring them on for specific treatment, rehabilitation and, if needed, for investigations or secondary care.

In my spare time I enjoy swimming, yoga and dog walking. I have had my fair share of injuries over the years and so have a good insight into how injuries can impact on your enjoyment of life!
My focus is always the person as well as the problem; I believe it is vital to follow an holistic approach to the management of musculoskeletal conditions in order to achieve your goals.
