Georgina trained at St Thomas’ School of Physiotherapy, gaining a Part I Distinction and a Part II Practical Distinction in her Graduate Diploma of Physiotherapy. She began her career at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, moving to the Canadian Physiotherapy & Sports Medicine Centre in Toronto, before returning to work in the UK as a Senior II Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the Radcliffe Infirmary. She has a Master’s Degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy and is a Member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists as well as a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
Georgina’s experience spans both NHS and private sectors and prior to joining Cranfold she worked as a pastoral tutor in a leading independent school. Since joining Cranfold she is one of the physiotherapists based at Cranleigh School where she enjoys combining her experience of working with boarding school students with her professional skills as a therapist. Georgina has undertaken training courses with the APPI and provides support to the programme of Clinical Pilates sessions offered by Cranfold Physical Therapy.
A mother of two, in her spare time Georgina enjoys reading, Tai Chi and walking her Airedale terrier in the Surrey Hills.
