I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy in 2009.

During my studies I took a one year placement in Australia. I lived in Perth and worked in a sports injury and remedial massage clinic. This was a fantastic opportunity for me both personally and professionally. The hands on experience I gained was extremely beneficial and helped me develop as a therapist. I expanded my knowledge in assessing and treating both sporting and non-sporting injuries. During this time I observed many other therapists treating and acquired a keen interest in core stability.

Developing my interest of core stability I have undertaken training courses with the APPI, (The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) Matwork one and two course.

I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of individuals from the general public to international athletes. I am particularly interested in sporting injuries and rehabilitation however I enjoy the variety of treating many different injuries.

As a Sports Therapist it is essential to continue developing your knowledge as healthcare approaches are ever changing. I have undertaken courses in cupping, taping and dry needling. I wish to continue my education further in order to expand my skills base and provide my clients with a treatment which is specific to their needs. In addition I am accredited as a certified fitness instruction by the American College of Sports medicine.
